5 Overwatch League Pros to Watch on Twitch

by John Hansen

The Overwatch League is currently in its offseason following the London Spitfire winning the inaugural Overwatch League Grand Finals, but that doesn’t mean the pros are done playing. Here are 5 pros that you should be following on Twitch.

Jjonak (Support) https://www.twitch.tv/jjonaklove

The Zenyatta god himself, Jjonak is a great player to watch in awe and wish you had at least a tenth of his skill. During the season, he plays for the New York Excelsior and was the first Overwatch League MVP. If you get the chance, watch this man show his dominance.

Pine (Damage) http://www.twitch.tv/tf2pine

Pine “the Big Boss” also plays on the Excelsior with Jjonak and is a wizard with Mccree. There are plenty of times this guy was subbed in on a specific part of a Control map just so he could carry the team to victory in the round. My favorite thing about him is watching him use Mccree’s ultimate just so he can cancel it to get the automatic reload and continue issuing headshots to everyone in attendance.

Surefour (Damage) https://www.twitch.tv/surefour

Surefour is another great DPS to watch. The Canadian plays for the Los Angeles Gladiators and won the Widowmaker 1v1 tournament during All-Star Weekend. During the first season of competitive play he was also the first person to reach an 80 skill rating (this was before they changed the rating system to what it is today).

SoOn (Damage) https://www.twitch.tv/soonsm

SoOn is my personal favorite player on my favorite team, the Los Angeles Valiant. He is a great Tracer that also will hop onto Widowmaker every now and then. He is a French player that used to play for the Rogue, and can go off at any moment against the enemy team.

Seagull (Damage) https://www.twitch.tv/a_seagull

Seagull retired from the Overwatch League following the Grand Finals to focus on his streaming career, so there are plenty of chances to catch him play. He has been a popular player to follow for years now even after playing for the Dallas Fuel who had overall a disappointing season.
